Anyway, some free advice to you DJs out there. I’ve been doing some platterless gigs where I use the MixTour Pro, this and that. But people love to see the platters, and they love to make the wiki-wiki motion while holding one hand against their head like they have headphones on. They love it. They love to make the joke, just like people say, “Slappa da bass,” when you have a bass guitar. I’m the lucky recipient of both of these all the time. Some people you want to punch in the face. Other people, actually, it’s funny. So it’s just one of those things that you are going to have to accept—happily—and once you get comfortable with both of these, you’ll be fine. But the platter is necessary. And I went around and around about a million different ways on what to do with djay Pro, and I settled on the LC6000 by Denon. It’s a MIDI… No comments yet.
