Recovering my health for the last era of life 0 ▲ Thoughts of Widdershins 24 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Trying to recover my health as a 60 year old man is not easy. In fact, it seems hopeless. I was never the skinny kid, but I was never the "fatty" either. Then came the military, I lost a lot of weight and was in pretty good shape... right up until I decided I was going to end my military time. The weight started creeping back, slowly at first, then gaining speed... like I reached the crest of a hill and then started barreling down the other side. I lost a lot of weight in my early to mid thirties, but got lazy again and it all came back with a vengeance. By my forties I was pretty obese. Not disgusting obese, but definitely fat. It fluctuated a lot between then and now, but remained mostly on the high side. I have tried different methods to loose weight, but to be honest, exercise eludes me. I really did try... joined a gym, but I could not stay motivated and as I got older, other things (like positional vertigo and arthritis in my military injured ankle that never healed properly)… No comments yet.
