iPhone 18 Pro Camera Review - Dunton – Austin Mann 0 ▲ Max Frequency 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments My favorite annual review of the iPhone camera is back. I mean, just look at these! My takeaway wasn't the adjustable aperture or focus tracking, but the third generation of Photographic Styles. More and more digital photography is leaning into principles in film photography. Apple's inclusion of film texture and grain controls puts those kinds of tools right into the photographic pipeline, which I think will be great. I've found myself using !Camera a lot in the last year and think Apple is capturing some of that spirit in the native camera experience. I also was pleased to see manual focus with a pleasant and easy UI. That's one bit about !Camera and other pro camera apps I don't care for. Their solutions try to mirror a physical camera too much and block the viewport. Apple's solution may be a "pro control" but the experience is dead simple, just what you'd expect from Apple. Go give Austin's review a full read. It's as delightful as ever. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
