As a photographer you’re always aware of the quality of light to some degree or another, and every year, you have a day where you’re looking outside, and you think “yeah, it’s fall”. The light seems softer and more diffuse, and it’s purely subjective, of course, but every year, this happens to me.We’re seeing the changes with the birds. Fall migration is upon us. Here at the house our summer Juncos have left, and the winter ones are just now slowly to arrive. The Grosbeaks and Tanagers are the last to show up to breed, and usually among the first to take off again.
