Day 212: Assortment of Lenses

2026-09-06Hello!For all my comments on urban design, I have to admit that the shopping mall, for all its flaws, is still a place I visit from time to time.Looking at the maps and directories, I found this camera store near me and stopped by to see what they had in stock. While there were a few banners and documents on new Nikon cameras, there weren't many in stock. Talking with one of the staff, it seems that Fujifilm has overtaken Nikon. It's clear that Fujifilm has gained ground in the camera industry; they're trendy at the moment.They had some old stock of Nikon lenses that fit with my camera, and the store never managed to sell them. It looked like a used batch of equipment since they were out of box. Attaching them to my camera worked, but had mixed results. Some weren't compatible with autofocus, some weren't able to move the aperture.
