Day 213: Casual Movie Watcher

2026-09-07Hello! I've never talked about movies on this website, have I?Along with the TV shows Jet Lag and Taskmaster, I'm watching movies at home while I recover from an illness. The last movie I remember watching in the theater was one of the Sonic movie sequels (I think it was Sonic 2, but it could have been Sonic 3). The movie wasn't great or memorable, but I was with friends. And Jim Carrey is a favorite actor of mine; I still hum along to Hey Pachuco! from The Mask.Light humor and comedy are my go-to genres. The one exception: The Get Out, a 2026 sex and violence movie. I've yet to watch Blink Twice, even though it was recommended to me by a classmate years ago. Movies are like comfort food to me, so my choice in movies doesn't have a wide range. In what might be the most damning indication of my personality type: I'm looking to secure a DVD copy of The Greatest Showman. I'm also looking forward to Coyote vs. Acme a lot.
