To the south they walked the Child God leading whither she would not reveal. They found a forest quite vast and sprawling in a low place between hills. The trees grew closely roots snared careless feet, canopy muted the sun. They struggled southeast deeper and deeper Lady of Rain never wavered. Her footsteps were true. No roots hindered her. Even the trees stepped aside. Abruptly she stopped, a spot was chosen. Her temple would be built here. The ground receded exposing large rocks and trees were guided aside. This clearing was made by Lady of Rain but her People would construct. They worked with the stone and trimmed down the trees to build their god a temple. The structure was short no taller than trees in the surrounding forest. Outside the clearing, in the deep forest People built small, wooden homes. They foraged for food and plenty was found.
