Fundamentals = Foundational

Thinning things down these last few months, probably a year since we decided to build the workshop studio at the end of the garden, didn't yet take care of everything. Currently, much of our equipment, furniture and hand tool gatherings are in a 40-foot container or in my house kitchen where for three months we have been keeping our work a living entity as we continue videoing and making in a slightly more confined space. Outside, Mario is currently laying the paving blocks and it's a big job. The blocks allow any rainfall to reach the ground below so that it does not enter the water systems as run-off. It still gets there if it's an excessive rain day but it does so more naturally.My recent post covered some of what I saw in the four men building my workplace. These skilled men work with what's to hand and then reach for lasers to pinpoint levels digitally and measure square-footage and distances that need accurate calculation.
