Dinosapien – 21 Jul 2010

Today’s recording starts with the end of Newsround and a trail for Richard Hammond’s Blast Lab. Then it’s Dinosapien – The Underworld, although Media Centre thinks it’s “The Underground”. Fewer bad biblical connotations for the young ones? Lauren is practicing her gymnastics while Eno watches. Then he has a go. I thought Chris and Lauren and Kit had settled their differences, but Chris is back to being a dick and complaining about Lauren. To be fair, Lauren is supposed to be helping her mum photograph some fossils today, but he is being very dickish about it. Lauren is helping Eno with his speech using what I assume is a fake prop that is sort of like a Speak’n’Spell without the spelling bit. It’s just a sound board with only six buttons that says the same six words to you. Of limited appeal, I would guess, unless you’re a super-intelligent dinosaur. Pressing Father gets Lauren to show Eno the picture of her father she keeps in the locket. Eno says “Lauren, father.” “You’re so smart,…
