It’s really cute and when it’s done it will be perfect but the pattern is way too busy for me to handle and I keep staring at pieces, thinking they could go anywhere and then set them aside, frustrated. I briefly considered putting the puzzle back in the box, but I’m no quitter. I walked away from the puzzle to make some tea and walked back, immediately seeing a piece that would go in a spot. It fit! I was so happy and immediately sat down to find others. I set aside pieces I had no spot for, trying each piece and then started all over again with the pieces that I’d set aside. Before long, I had a lot of the puzzle in place. Just by trying and setting aside when I couldn’t place something. The frustration was gone, I was enjoying myself again. I know this story is only about a puzzle and it’s not really significant. But I struggle with a lot of things on a daily basis, small and big things.
