Four in five breast reductions among adults and 97% among adolescents were performed on cisgender men and boys. You read that right. The study found that 93.5% of the gender affirming surgeries among adolescents were BREAST REDUCTIONS OF CISGENDER MEN AND BOYS. Kind of makes all that concern about “gender affirming surgery” for adolescents feel… misplaced, doesn’t it?
