Terminal Vibes.

I do like my terminal windows. I come from an era of technology when data looked like data, not some sort of stylish window. I thrive on the command line on a Mac and in Linux. I used a locally hosted LLM to “vibe” code these two terminal windows. I made some adjustments after I had the LLM do the heavy lifting. First up, a poor man’s version of the Bloomberg Terminal. I’ve never seen a Bloomberg Terminal in person but I know the interface is super groovy. I put together a single pane application that shows me key stock performance and the latest headlines on bloomberg.com. Three cheers for RSS. Here I have it running on my work Mac, but I also have it installed on my “server”, which is 2011 Mac mini running Debian 13. “Bloomberg Terminal” I also used the same vibes to build a Weather Service “terminal”, giving me the stats from a specified airport code. If I don’t specify a code, it just gives me the data for Tucson. With both of these dashboards, I just pick a link, type the number…
