Dinosapien – 20 Jul 2010

Today’s recording starts with the end of Newsround. There’s a musical trail for Horrible Histories Song & Dance Special. Then it’s Dinosapien – Dinohunt. I know the idea is supposed to be that Eno is an intelligent dinosaur, but here it looks like he’s building a Tardis. The Diggers attack him with a boomerang and cut his arm. He runs out in the road and is almost hit by Lauren’s mum in a car, but she’s also distracted by a coffee falling in her lap when the car hits a pothole so she doesn’t get a clear look at him. Courtney sees Lauren and Kit talking and being friendly, which makes her jealous because she had earlier decided that Kit was ‘her summer project’ so she tells Chris, who is/was Lauren’s boyfriend before, and they’re all in each other’s faces for half this episode. It’s quite tiresome. When Aikens hears about Hillary’s close encounter with an unknown animal on the road, and hears the animal might have been hurt, he goes out hunting. The Diggers watch him, and then…
