I enjoy reading print media. I mean, this blog has always had a heavy comic-book focus, and you know my preference for those to be in a physical format 99% of the time! One thing that has struggled at times but refuses to go away is magazines. There may not be as many on the stands these days as decades ago, but periodicals persist! With that in mind, I wanted to talk about three quite different magazines I've been enjoying lately, from newest to oldest...The Comics StapleI've written before about how I am fond of, "The Comics Courier," with its in-depth examination of the comic artform. A bit ago, the folks behind it did a Kickstarter for, "The Comics Staple." This is more of a 'zine-format publication that goes out monthly. It is loaded with reviews and shorter (but still great) think pieces than the (literally) bigger Courier. I adored the debut issue and eagerly await the next one. You can subscribe to get future issues, and I'd recommend doing so!Camp Out MagazineOrderable online…
