0:1 I’m a little ticked off. We had a terrible start to the new season over the first four matchdays; we’re in last place with only two points, and on Sunday we had the chance not only to play a good game at home against Mannheim but also to win, since Waldhof was only in 15th place with just 4 points at that time. The coach showed courage in his lineup, starting 4 of the 5 new players (Massimo, Brandt, Müller and [Paula](https://www.kicker.de/ raul-paula/players/3rd-division/2026-27/sv-wehen-wiesbaden)) and the guys pretty much had the game under control from the start. The effort and the will to win were definitely there. Fabian Greilinger made a lasting impression on me with his sprints up and down the field during the entire game, until he was substituted. I think he must have gained some oxygen on the bench.
