Sorry I'm late; it's been a busy weekend in KL-ville, but I'm here now. Bill's defense witnesses went out with a bang, as he brought in an expert to testify. Gift link!Bill's final witness was Caroline Nabuto - a "cybersecurity control officer" with 25 years of experience. She called into question the chain of evidence of Bill's alleged email - noting that the .eml file should have been saved and examined immediately, which it may not have been. I am frankly shocked that this was not done, if this is true. However, it really depends upon several factors.I don't know how City Hall handles mail. They may have their own mail servers, but they may also use a third party to handle email (Google or Microsoft, for instance). Even so, if that email arrived in even one City mailbox, the .eml file was accessible if you know how to get it. That said, I'm not sure how much that would have proved. I mean, it'd prove it came from Bill's email address, but beyond that, I'm not sure how helpful it…
