Media Diet Outtake: British Invasion

When I write for hilobrow.com, there is usually a pretty clear assigned length, and I usually push right up against it. This most recent contribution of mine, the Media Diet, consisted of a set of questions I could choose among. I ended up writing bits of several answers I didn’t complete, as I saw the length ceiling closing in on me, and as it turned out, I still went well over, because I included an addendum about what we mean by the word “media.” There was one answer I did complete to my satisfaction and still cut, for length, before submitting my draft. It was this one: HILOBROW: What music did you love as a teenager? Do you still listen to it today? Why or why not?
