And an encouraging reminder that it is not a black and white struggle depicted in sci-fi and social media; which are arguably the same these days. ...And yet!!! Don’t dismiss technology. Don’t dismiss the LLMs; don’t shy away from the tools. This is what makes the writing and thinking of those folks linked above so compelling and rare: They contend with both sides. They love literature and words and the humanity of it all, and yet can engage with the technical side of AI at the highest levels.
