Beware: depression; cheating leading to STI; not particularly descriptive, consensual sex on page between two adult men. “It Started With a Text” by Jax Calder This is the second story in the Queer Ways to Fall in Love duology, the premise of which is teased in that story as a post to the Share Your Glow forum Devin and Travis moderate in “Moderating Love”. And it turns out this one is just as sweet as the first, even though there is a bit more real-world struggle in both of the protagonists’ lives. The story is narrated in first person, present tense, from the points of view of the protagonists, Nick Marchesi, poor student surviving on ramen, bad coffee, and courage dressed up as cheerful optimism, and Anthony Devine, famous singer and songwriter–of whom Nick has been a fan for several years.
