Continuing my quest to catalog every GeoGuessr spinoff in existence, today's menu features two fresh location-guessing challenges: TimePin and Oppocity. TimePin is a GeoGuessr-style game with a historical twist. Your task is to guess not only where a character is from, but also when they lived. Each round presents you with environmental photos and a character you can question about their life and surroundings. You have 12 questions available, but can only ask five, so you'll need to choose carefully. The clues might help you narrow down both the location and the historical era. Once you've made your deductions, drop a pin on the interactive map and use the time slider to select your date. The closer you get to the correct place and time, the more points you earn. At the end of each round, the character's portrait is revealed, along with links to articles, videos and podcasts where you can learn more about their culture and era.
