Zoo Run 0 ▲ Herbert Lui 12 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Yesterday, I ran 5km at the Toronto Zoo. It was the first time in decades that I ran this distance. Mindful of dehydration and fatigue, I made sure to pace myself very intentionally throughout. I certainly wasn’t the fastest, but I finished well, and had enough energy to check out the zoo after. Having two healthy legs is a privilege (one that Terry Fox did without); as long as you have them, you can just get out of the house and start running. There is practically no other barrier to entry. There is a strong running community, and I understand that many passionate people identify as runners. I wouldn’t consider myself one yet; it was useful for me just to focus on trying to do something new. The post Zoo Run appeared first on Herbert Lui. No comments yet.
