Quibble: The specifics of how 26’s Siri scrolling worked

In a previous post of mine from before WWDC25, I discussed1 how Siri is too easy to dismiss, its responses too fragile and how I longed for a more complete “destination” for Siri chats.My wish will be granted as of tomorrow, the day iOS 27 will release with the new Siri app, to which one arrives by pulling down on the conversation bubble from the Siri popup, as I’ve predicted. Here, on the last day of the previous incarnation of Apple Intelligence, I want to document the exact oddity and particulars of how Siri worked in terms of interaction design and its ChatGPT integration.
