I had the glass on my iPhone 16 Pro replaced. There were a couple of deep scratches that were starting to spread, and they could be felt when running fingers over the glass. Since I still had AppleCare+ on this phone, I paid the $29 to get the glass replaced. Josh and Renée at the Apple Store at La Encantada here in Tucson were top notch across the board. They had to restore my phone to factory settings because I was running the release candidate of iOS 27. Apparently Apple’s diagnostic tools don’t support the beta versions of their software. The more you know. The new glass is wonderful and they even polished my iPhone back to as close to new as they could manage. They also cleaned out the USB-C port, which had a LOT of lint in it. I’m really pleased with the level of services I received from the Apple Store today. This is the Apple experience I remember.
