Bike ride 0 ▲ Old People meandering around Europe by train & ferry 53 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Yesterday was Saturday We went to the Big Market in neighbouring Cattolica - we walked by way of the cash machine and along the port. The market was huge. Lots of stalls selling cheap women's clothes (including €1 dresses if you had the patience to sort through the dross), and a few stalls with menswear. Of course there were toys, household goods, and, well, you name it. Most of the food was separate from the main market, but there were a couple of stinky cheese vendors adding a bit of pungency to the proceedings. I bought a nice leather belt to hold my shorts up and a couple of t-shirts. My travelling companion bought a rather fetching top. After finding out about the dodge of having goods on display that you haven't actually got in stock to sell, we decided to have a sit, and a drink in the market greasy spoon cafe - where we bumped into the posh lady from our group and her husband.
