Shrinking

We watched this together as a family but took an extended break about half way through. Sometimes the endless witty to-and-fro can just be a bit much, especially as it can come across as a bit smug at times - no-one is quite that witty with the snappy repartee all the time! In total though, and thanks to the break we did all enjoy this season. All the characters are very familiar to us now and we understand their hopes, dreams and inevitable hang-ups. It is quite a large cast and good that it has not been over-used with characters appearing only when the plot needs them to. There are some great scenes always helped by the excellent acting - Harrison Ford is always tremendous in this show and the “Les Miserables” duo in the car with an incredulous Ford in the back seat was priceless.
