I’ve always been a very introverted person, very inward-looking. I wouldn’t say that I’m unloving or unempathetic toward other people. On the other hand, for a very long time, I was probably too empathetic. I would take on other people’s struggles, fears, and sadness as if they were my own. I was constantly drained. Always looking inward, yet always looking for connection, whatever that was. The connection was there in a way. I was always there to support people and be there for them. I have never really known how to create connection beyond that, or without that. I have always been the person people call when they are in need, and for a long time that was enough. This was the way things were, nice and status quo. After I got into photography several years ago I went through this social media phase . I was posting my photos on Twitter and elsewhere.
