Codex is superior to Claude Code

My introduction to AI was with ChatGPT about 4 years ago. It was very cool, useful, and novel. Then I discovered others: Claude, Grok, and Gemini. Claude caught my attention more so than the rest. It seemed more intuitive and better and producing results for things the others struggled with. Then I discovered Claude Code. Being a Linux guy, CLI is natural to me. Claude Code blew my mind away. It could access everything... my folders, my files, my self-hosted servers, everything. No more copy and pasting files into the web browser. Claude Code handled everything natively and in bulk. I bought a year subscription. But the last year Claude Code has been getting, well, stupid. Lot's of downtime, hallucinating often, not following instructions, giving blatantly wrong information, and using up tokens like a sponge. I tried Codex and really did not like it at first.
