Andy Hawthorne As a person in tech I could tell so many stories on this kind of hate between companies, leaving us normal people using devices to struggle with the aftermah of those choices. As an European I am proud that sometimes our legislators, with the laws approved at community level, manage to to smooth out the edges of many Big Tech companies. For example the universal spreading of the USB-C port as the standard connector type for every smartphone / tablet / smart accessory put in commerce. Sure, other things need fixing, but that’s up to social engagement and political decisions which are ‘easier’ things to revert over the time.
