Dinosapien – 15 Jul 2010

Today’s recording starts with the end of Newsround. There’s a promo for the Horrible Histories website. Then it’s Dinosapien – No Place Like Home. The two big ‘Digger’ dinosaurs are lurking around Uncle Ten Bears’ cabin and, rather alarmingly, they pick up and take an axe that was outside. He comes outside when they’ve left and spots their tracks. “They’ve been here.” Brother and Sister Nelson and Danny talk about things they’ve overheard. They wonder if ‘Eno’ – the name Lauren has given her friendly dinosaur, is a secret password or something. Meanwhile, Nelson is homesick because his pet tortoise is not well. Lauren goes to see Eno, who shows her a dolls house he plays with. She eventually infers that Eno is missing his parents. Ten Bears goes to the local mine, and we see the Diggers using the axe to carve something. When he gets closer to the mine, the Diggers throw a boomerang at him. They start creeping up behind him, but he starts talking to them in his native language. “Stop!…
