The excellent website hilobrow.com has an ongoing feature titled Media Diet in which they ask people for … you guessed it, their media diet. There’s a set of questions, and you get to select a few and answer them. Not everyone answers the same questions as everyone else, and yet together we all answer the same questions. I say “we” because I was recently invited to be part of the Media Diet, which is quite an honor, given who else preceded me, including Deb Chachra, Drew Daniel, Annalee Newitz (a novel by whom I mention in my entry), Gary Panter, Lucy Sante, Seth, and Mike Watt.
