Day 14: Defense Witnesses

A short day, with a triad of defense witnesses - Bill's wife Gwen, and one of his tenants. I'm not really sure what the point of today's witnesses was - character witnesses? Someone to back up Bill's side of the story?The guy who Bill uses for drone footage and other camera work said Bill hired him to get "evidence" of illegal dumping of sewage (again, Bill is trying to use this criminal trial to prosecute the City for imagined wrongs, which - even if they weren't imagined, isn't the purpose of the trial). Marsha Scanlan, who is his tenant and also one of his sureties, to cast doubt on Ron Ashmore's testimony.And his wife, for reasons. He's got more witnesses on Monday, and then both sides will present their closing arguments. After that, it's in the jury's hands.
