ease of delivery

As I replayed highlights from recent in-person gatherings in my mind, a random thought appeared. Delivering banter in the company of those friends of mine was a naturally smooth process, like a hot knife to butter. Why then do most of my post drafts, including this one, need to be churned over and over again before being deemed ready to consume? Shouldn't the activity with weaker ties, more distance, and lesser stakes come with more effortless action?
