Forestry: Growing Forward – Infestation Solo Mode

I thought it was a shame that the key element of the new Forestry expansion wasn’t solo-able, so I set out to design my own solo-adaption. It preserves the original solo mode as much as possible and tries to add a minimal amount of modifications and extra rules. Enjoy! Setup Set up as a normal solo game, then do the setup of the Bark Beetle infestation module. If one of the drawn goals is the “open storage space” token, place a white forester token on it to cover the storage space symbol. The goal of that detached storage is now to have the most forester tokens. The automa receives a van, same as a normal player does. Modified Rules The automa does not put infested wood tokens into a storage space but can store an unlimited number of them. Simply place them on the character illustration.
