In my doctor’s office, there is a framed school writing assignment his child completed during 2nd or 3rd Grade. It’s a fill-in-the-blank story where she has hand written answers to different data fields, like “My father is really good at….” For “My father’s favorite food is,” the kid had written SALAD. I asked him, “Is salad really your favorite food, or is that just what you told your daughter?” “It’s just what I told her,” he admitted with a smile.
