Across the Downs to West Sussex 0 ▲ Simon Collison | Journal 17 days ago · 7 min read1366 words · Life · hide · 0 comments A long weekend down South, starting with a night at Mollie’s near Oxford, before a drive across the rolling chalk hills to Goodwood Art Foundation, Chichester and Bognor Regis. It’s taken me a couple of weeks to get these photos chosen, edited and prepped. Aphera now makes photo editing easy, but I couldn’t face organising and writing a lengthy blog post, not least because I’ve got a lot of distractions and commitments at present. I’ve decided to just bang these up with a speedy write-up and move on. Mollie’s Oxford and the Downs Geri had long wanted an excuse to stay at Mollie’s Hotel just outside Oxford, and it’s halfway to the South Coast, so we made it happen. We also booked a meal at the adjoining Diner and had a fun evening catching up with Jon and Leigh Hicks. The hotel was great, with lovely wooden floors and fittings. It was achingly cool, with one of those lobby areas that tries a bit too hard not to look like a hotel lobby, but we loved it. The interior at Mollie’s Diner.… No comments yet.
