Quite what Roman artefacts were doing in Nigel’s ‘space’ I’ve no idea, but it definitely somewhere you’d not want to end up in a straight jacket with Nigel showing you his Flying Scotsman collection in a multitude of scales and gauges. But each to their own, for toy train and and those involved are from a broad church…….On that note, rumour has it he even has a broad gauge Flying Scotsman in Z scale which runs on N gauge track. Meanwhile on the light railway works train trundles through with Driver Bernard in charge of his Manning Wardle 0-6-0 saddle tank, it bouncing along the rickety rails at a thrilling 13 miles per hour.
