Mysterious Man on Horseback – New York, New York I have two more pictures for your consideration. I’m on the same rooftop garden I mentioned yesterday, and you can actually see part of it in these photos. What drew my attention was the mysterious sculpture of a man on horseback at the corner of the building. It’s facing away from the garden, so you see only his back, which makes it even more intriguing. Obviously, the sculpture was meant to be seen from the street. After doing a bit of research, I learned that the work is titled Napoleon Bonaparte on Horseback. The bigger question for today is, which version do you prefer? Unlike yesterday, when I had a clear-cut favorite, today I’m torn. Although I took both pictures from the same spot only about ten seconds apart, changing the camera’s orientation tells a completely different story.
