I currently use a 13 Pro and an iPad mini as my main devices, because of the portability of the iPhone, and the screen size of the iPad. The Duo seems to nicely combine the two. The demo videos I’ve seen look really clever. Apple has thought hard about how to make good use of the new screen dimensions, and how to get the two screens to feel like part of one device. And the outcome of that hard thinking looks very clever. I love gadgets, and I love Apple’s hardware and software. It looks great. It’s also unreasonably expensive. Nobody should be spending £2000 on a phone. You can get a great iPhone 17 for £1000 less (my 13 Pro has now lasted me 5 years and it’s still a good phone). If you have the money for an iPhone Duo, I hope you look at donating to charity alongside your new gadget. There are so many causes that deserve money much more than Apple’s balance sheet, especially when Apple revenue recently has gone to funding the USA’s awful president’s… No comments yet.
