Things to not put off any longer 0 ▲ Thoughts of Widdershins 2 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I was born in 1966, which means as of this blog post, I am 60 years old. The fact of turning 60 really was a "oh... OK" moment.. nothing earth shattering or crisis generating. But since then, I have realized that I have considerably less time ahead of me than behind me, and that things I just sort of took for granted when I stepped into the adult world 42 years ago (and have not really thought about over those years), I should probably get cracking on. I'm divorced and my kids are grown. I live in a small apartment and don't have some of the possessions someone my age would normally have (a house, land, etc) but the things I do have I don't want to leave to chance and want to make sure my kids are in control of what I leave behind. So I am actually working on getting a will together. Soon. A lot of people do this earlier in life, but I never really gave it much thought. Now, it's on my mind.
