Notes and links from 10 Sept

Because I went out on the scooter here’s a photo of the park for September. The grass is back. Remarkable how quickly it recovered from drought. Made it out to the hardware store on my wee scooter, the first time it’s been out for quite a while. (My goal is to go out weekly…) Managed to get there, ask a guy about plumbing tape, buy it and leave without any cognitive problems, so that’s a win. Did have to have a break in the park on the way back though. Of course having got the thing I needed to finish the water harvesting complex I then had to finish the water harvesting complex, which I did. No more leaks! And Fi helped me move the two overflow butts back to the side of the rabbit run which I then connected to the main butt (pictured) and so from tonight we start collecting aqua. Fingers crossed it continues to not leak. This took me a significant number of weeks to get done but it’ll hold about 650 litres of rain water ready for the next drought.
