While this creative project has been fun, how much of it has been practicing avoidance of more collaborative, accumulative, and productive alternatives? I can afford to redesign my environment by visiting other ponds with stronger network effects, more responsive feedback, or more people aligned with my interests. There are so many mediums, presences, and pseudonyms for me to inhabit and explore the world through. My experimentation doesn't have to stop there. Think about the language patterns I could play with, the rules of engagement I can learn then break, and even the interpersonal relationships I could nurture. I don't have to settle for my holding pattern anymore. I can play many more games than just this. I can make my webs, no matter how virtual they are, ever more multiplayer.
