What it feels like to Discover Music in 2026

Live report and recap from a night of digging in 2026 I wrote this in a live-action first person format but added an additional note at the end upon publication, September 2026. Enjoy :) Friday, July 24, 2026. Sitting down for a couple hours to chill on my computer, hop on Discord with a friend, craft some shit in Minecraft, and promote my new eco-centric low poly drum & bass track, cyber nutrients. The catch? I don’t want to shout at the clouds on all platforms (echoes of “Out Now!” in the distance). I want to discover my people — the ones already making this kind of music. The track is a jazz-influenced Liquid DnB track, a short description I wrote here: 'cyber nutrients' is the first single off the eco-centric DnB/hiphop project, "CyberSolar;; Grass is Greener".
