I really appreciate that our conversations are devoid of pretense or hesitation and lean positive and proactive, even when I drop the ball. Numbers from my recent bloodwork raised flags. Allergies might be at play, but I’m also way overdue finding a new oncologist after the last one retired. This task is now at the top of the list and all other concerns were prioritized accordingly. 2026 marks 30 years (!!!) since my first diagnosis of lymphoma, later classified as leukemia. I tip my hat to the stars for skirting treatment all these decades, but know this streak will one day come to an end — and maybe that’s sooner than later. It’s tough when one of the symptoms of concern is fatigue and all I can think of is the relentless parade of shit we must endure as a society due to greed, willful misinformation and outright incompetence.
