Hand and Knife’s People defended their land over several bleak months. Greedy Noble sent their People to fight, to conquer was paramount. They brought new weapons and tried strange tactics yet each attempt was futile. Each strike was rebuffed. They could not compete with devastating magic. The defenders entrenched within their homeland. Fortifications were built. Hand and Knife did not give her folk desire to gather land and conquer.
