Hi, welcome to this write-up for the 80. Cold Case challenge from Bellingcat. Here you can see my thought processes and what steps I took to get to the answer, but of course there are many different ways of reaching the same results. First lookBellingcat has posted a picture made by GeoPeter. He's enjoying an ice cream somewhere and it's our task to find out where he bought it. I first looked closely at the picture and made a list of observations for myself. This helps me get some context for what I'm looking for, and I can reference it when I get stuck. I noted: The ice cream label appears to have Korean text on it. The ice cream packaging uses brown, yellow and orange colors. The ground is tiled and colored in a specific pattern. The pattern has stripes, but in the distance there's also a < shape. I had a few ideas for how to potentially go about this search: I could geolocate that floor, scout that location and find out what stores were nearby. Then I could check which one sells…
