being around people

you're writing this early in the morning, because it will be a day full of people. not your people, just people. starting with helping some community members, then customer service all day, then a staff lunch, then an event. you will not have time for yourself. to be yourself. for a person who struggles with identity, and for someone who lives in such a small village, you hang around people a lot. most of the time you want to tell them to go away, to sort out their own problems, to stop treating you like a servant. yet, you have a 'career' that forces you to do just that. you don't want to go to work. you don't want to shower, shave, put on fresh clothes and a stale smile. you want time to write.
