MelGeek MADE68 Ultra V2 keyboard review

This is a midline Hall effect board. Heavily lensed backlighting Side and top read lighting. The side lighting in not visible while typing. 3 mm travel Pared down options for triggering Wired only Configurable via the excellent MelGeek Hive web configurator The version I ordered came with maybe the worst set of keycaps I’ve ever seen. The legends are unreadable unless you hold a flashlight in your teeth. The typing feel is not great with the supplied keys, but is average for boards of this class with ceramic keys. I tried to keep the understated, minimalist esthetic with a set of black glossy TacType ceramic keys. But, oops, there were two V’s and no C in the set that came from them. The TacType spacebar bound, and I substituted a white TacType one, which stood out like a sore thumb. I installed a transparent smoky spacebar. I gave up on the TacType keycaps because of the missing C, and installed Cerakeys ones. Have I mentioned ho much I hate the Cerakeys packing? I am having a hard…
