The high spots: Hall effect Wired only Four stored profiles Excellent web configurator, MelGeek Hive 4 mm travel Leaf suspension Side, rear and back south-facing, heavily lensed LEDs 8000 Hz scan rate Out of the box, this thing screams “gamer.” As with the Centauri80, the LEDs are lensed for transparent keys, and don’t work well with TacType caps. I don’t like the feel of the plastic keycaps. Truth be told, I don’t like the feeo of any plastic keycaps other than PEI ones, and they are hard to find. I replaced most of the control keys with metal ones. Now, what to do with the alphanumerics? I replaced the numerics with the same titanium Awekeys caps as most of the modifier keys, and the alphas with Awekeys obsidian caps. But I couldn’t find the N key. Not liking the obsidian look anyway, I went with Awekeys white caps. This thing still doesn’t feel quite finished to me, but I’ll give it some… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
