08.31 – 09.06

Life Ηη went back to school on Thursday. He seems ready. He also demonstrated some exceptionally loving big-brotherly behaviour when Αα was having a meltdown (always plenty to choose from). He even let her win a race which is completely unheard of. I took him climbing again on Saturday morning and he kept at it for a solid two hours non-stop. His determination is admirable verging on ridiculous. We got our money’s worth for sure, and he basically had the run of the place since most reasonable humans don’t want to be up and climbing first thing at the weekend. He got another PB at junior parkrun on Sunday, then we hung out with/looked after Heather and Liv for the rest of the day. Mercifully all four got on with each other when I took them to the playground on my own. I built a load of IKEA furniture and I’m slightly jealous of how good the kids’ bedroom is now.
