Last Saturday I went to a farmers market to help a friend of mine. I haven't been to a farmers market since I was a kid, so it was an interesting experience. This one seemed much more organized than the ones I remember, seeing how everyone had a fold out cover tent, tables, and food trucks. I was expecting something like a weekend fleamarket down by the tracks. I guess this one was a little more up town. The one thing I didn't like about it though was the heat. It's way too hot outside to be doing a farmers market right now in my opinion. The temperature got over 100F right at the afternoon, which is when we packed everything back up and called it a day. It all seemed busy to me, but my friend said it was a slow day. I don't think I would be able to hold up on a "busy" day if this was anything to go by with it being as hot as it was. When I got back home, I was so wiped out tired that I had a 4 hour nap in my chair beside the AC window unit! When I woke up, it felt like a new day…
